Today I made my pie debut in Terlingua and it was a great success! I baked a peach pie and two apple pies for the coffee house at La Posada Milagro. In a town of this size (pop. 200) word spreads fast like good gossip and as soon as the store window opened the customers lined up!
The first piece was purchased by the town’s gorgeous yoga teacher, Cynthia.
Before she was even handed her slice of peach pie the line had grown. The townspeople of Terlingua were so excited to have pie!
They ate, they smiled, they laughed, they enjoyed. And it was good.
